This document describes the Rich Audio Visual Environment (RAVE) project between the SLTI team and the BA(Hons) Fashion Photography course team. The project aimed to enhance the online learning experience for students on the Fashion Photography course. Benefits included an improved student learning experience and employability. A workshop was held where the course team updated the online course content to include rich media like videos and images. A student questionnaire before and after the project found increased student satisfaction with the clarity of online course information and materials after the updates.

This project saw the SLTI team working
alongside the teaching team from the
BA(Hons) Fashion Photography course to
enhance all the myCourse units across all 3
levels of the course so that all the units are
of a consistent media-rich high quality
standard.

Why do it – what are the
benefits?
Further the work included enhancement to
learning outcome definitions in a CV
friendly style language so that the students
can re-use those CV style outcomes in
building their employability profiles.
The project will be completed by August
2016 in time for the 2016-17 academic year.
