10. Compensatory Mechanisms In
Hemorrhagic Shock
1. :-Plasma Refill
2. :-RAS and HPAA – Renin convert
angiotensinogen to angiotensin 1 which is than
Metabolized in the liver to angiotensin 2,
which is a potent vasoconstrictor that
Stimulate aldosteron secretion , along with the
pitutary release of ADH, promoting
Sodium and ater retension.
11. 3. :- Norepinephirn and epinephrine are locally and
systematically released.
Catecholamine mediated effects are inotropic (force of
contraction ) and chronotropic
(rate of contraction) resulting in incresed cardiac
output. They also increse the systemic
vascular resistance leading to an incresed diastolic
pressure and therefor narrow pulse
pressureVasoconstriction enhances venous return
which also increase cardiac output
And stroke volume.
