2. Notes From Mrs. Mizell
Dear Parents,
We welcome you and your children to our Central Family. This year has been
amazing. We have had tremendous turn outs for math and literacy night. PTA workers
have been a vital part of our volunteers this year. Because of our parent involvement
committee, parents were invited to come to school and be a part of the class. We thank
those who came.
This spring, we are making an effort to provide positive behavior support for
every student in every part of the school day. We ask that all students: Be safe. Be
respectful. Be responsible. Because of an outcome from our wellness committee, we
are going to implement an opportunity for an extra physical activity once a week for our
students. Names will be placed in a class drawing due to students doing what is right in
behavior and academics. We hope our families will help to reinforce these important
behavior guidelines by using these same terms at home.
To ensure all students work to their potential, remember a good night’s
sleep, healthy meals and being to school on time is very important. We continue to
encourage you to be involved in your child’s education at home and in school. Students
need to continue to practice reading each night. Together we can make this an
outstanding second semester year!
“Striving for the Best while Soaring above the Rest”
Sincerely,
Cindy Mizell
