 General: 4th grade, 20 students (12 boys, 8 girls), 16 Caucasian, 4 African-American.
 Learning Competencies: Students should know or have heard of an earthquake. Students should
also be familiar with plate tectonics.
 Learning styles: Visual and auditory students

3. Main Objectives
Students will describe what an earthquake is by what causes them, where they are located, the
affects, and the damage done. They will do this by using the internet, looking at facts, and watching
YouTube videos by the end of the week with 90% accuracy.
