● Companies must be open in Tally in-order to sync the data
SETUP PREREQUISITES
4. ● Open Tally ERP 9 and Press F12

STEP 1
5. ● Press “C” or Select Advanced

6. ● Enter “Yes” for Enable ODBC
Server
● By default Port will be set at
“9000”
Note: You can choose any other
port number as well.
● Press CTRL+A to save the
changes and restart tally.
STEP 3
7. ● Note: You can verify by checking
the status here.
Tally will display “Client with
ODBC” along with port number.
STEP 4
9. ● Download the Desktop App from
www.bizanalyst.in/#setup
● Run the exe file

10. ● Enter your Email-id and password if you have
already registered
or
● Sign Up to create a new account
Note: The user creating a new account will
become the admin of the app and will have
access to all the features of the app.
STEP 2
11. ● Enter the 6 character Partner code of the Sales
Partner through whom you have registered.
Else Press Skip Button
STEP 3
12. ● Make sure your Tally status is “RUNNING” and
your Internet Status is “CONNECTED”.
If yes, Press “NEXT”
If tally Status is “NOT RUNNING”, follow
instructions to Enable ODBC in Tally.
STEP 4
13. ● Enter “localhost” if you have Tally installed on
the PC you are setting up.
Or
Enter the IP address of the PC where your Tally
is installed Eg: ”192.168.2.1”
● Enter the Port number where ODBC is enabled.
If entered correctly, you will get the “Tally
configured successfully” message.
Press “SAVE” to continue
STEP 5
14. ● Click on “ADD” to add the companies you wish to
sync.
● Click on “SAVE” to complete the step.
The added company will show on the right side
in the “Biz Analyst Companies” list.
Repeat this for all the companies you wish to
sync.
Press “NEXT” to continue
STEP 6
16. ● It would take around 10-15 mins to sync all the
data depending on the size of your data and the
internet speed.
Status: Shows Sync is going on
Status: Shows Sync is completed
YOUR DESKTOP APP SETUP IS COMPLETE.

17. ● Click on “X” to hide the App.
Note: To reopen Biz Analyst Desktop Sync:
● Click on up arrow in the system tray.
● Right click on the Biz Analyst Icon
● Select “Show Biz Analyst Sync”

Step 1.2: Enter Tally ODBC Port No
Step 1.3: Select companies to be synced
Step 2: Download mobile app on Android / IOS
Step 3: Enjoy the data
NOTE:
● Install the desktop app on the PC where Tally is running as server (Windows PC only)
● Tally should be ON while syncing data and user should have active internet connection.
● Companies in tally need to be open for the sync to happen.
