From one of the sources you have been looking at, find a review of something that you
yourself have experienced: a film, television programme, game, book etc.
Read the review carefully and analyse it as above, identifying how the reviewer felt
about the subject of the review.
Do you agree with the reviewer’s opinion?
If so, why? If not, why not? What do you think? Record your thoughts below.
“A walk to remember”- the reviewer thought the movie was
fine, The “cool kid meets misfit and falls in love” story has been
done many times, but this is a fine example of the genre but too
many cheesy moments that makes you want to choke down and
giggle for example “Jamie has faith in me. She makes me want to
be different. Better” the reviewer also thinks that the ending is
obvious.
I disagree with the reviewer; yes it has some cheesy moments
but it suits the film and I don’t think the story line obvious at all,
at first it maybe a little obvious but the twist with her having
cancer and dying isn’t obvious in fact at that moment of the film
the audience feels the most for the characters and the twist itself
gets the audience to cry and feel sorry for London carter (Shane
west) and creates a whole different emotion for the audience.
