3. Concept and Reasons behind selecting this Business
• Concept
While 135.26+ crores people living in India “Chapati” is the main staple food
here. Which is exclusively made by wheat flour. Once focused on quantity now our main
target is quality. Reasonable people want quality food. Since they can not move on from
Chapati, demand of wheat flour is exponential now and will also be. This concept
simultaneously backs and provides base for setting up wheat flour mill.
• Reasons
I belong to Khurai, Sagar, (Madhya Pradesh) which is one of the places in India known for
best quality wheat production i.e. Sharbati (C 306) variety.
Sharbati wheat is popularly known as best quality wheat in Asia.
At Khurai replete Sharbati Wheat is available. This provides best replete raw material for
flour as well at the site – Khurai – itself.
4. Why is Sharbati wheat considered as best ?
• Sharbati wheat is a regional variety of atta, derived from
the wheat grown in the Khurai and Sehore regions of MP.
• Sharbati wheat is sweeter in taste and better in texture.
• The grains of Sharbati wheat are bigger in size and has a golden
sheen to it.
• Black cotton soil adding to its crispness & nutty flavor as soil
losses moisture faster at the end of season.
• Presence of slightly more amounts of simple sugars like glucose
and sucrose as compared to other wheat varieties.
• Sharbati is the most nutritious, healthy & enriched with vitamin,
protein, carbohydrates and all essential nutrients.
• It is rich in catalytic elements, mineral salts, calcium, magnesium,
potassium, sulfur, chlorine, arsenic, silicon, manganese, zinc,
iodine, copper, vitamin B, and vitamin E.
• It is abundant in antioxidants, especially in carotenoids such as
beta-carotene.

11. Approvals & Incentives
• For approvals, the project report should be submitted to respective District
Industries Centres (DICs). DIC will forward the proposal to Industries
Commissioner who will submit the report to State Level Approver Committee
(SLAC) for final approval.
• Additionally, The proposed unit will have to register itself with Secretariat of
Industrial Approvals (SIA), Ministry of Industries and Government of India, by
filing Industrial Entrepreneur’s Memorandum (IEM), as it will have plant and
machinery investment of more than INR 10 million.
• Bureau of Indian Standards has laid the quality norms in their standards and it is
obligatory to meet provisions under the PFA act for all ingredients and quality
aspects for marketing the product in the Indian market.
