types of connections, such as ground or power.

10. How to Make Jumper Wires
A jumper wire is a short insulated wire with bare (stripped of
insulation) ends.
Cut the wire to the length you need, using a wire-cutting tool.
Strip off about 1/4- to 1/3-inch of insulation from each end
Bend the exposed ends of wire at a right (90-degree) angle.
Use your needle-nose pliers to do this.
