2. INTRODUCTION
The Department of Management Studies IIT Delhi,
also known as DMS IIT Delhi, is the school of
management education and research in Indidan Institute
of Technology, Delhi. The department established in 1993
by an amendment in IIT Delhi statutes, currently runs a
two year full-time MBA programme with focus on
Management Systems, a two year full-time MBA with
focus on Telecommunication Systems Management under
the aegis of Bharti School of Telecom Technology and
Management and a three year part-time MBA
programme with focus on Technology Management.
3. ACCREDATION&AFFILIATION
The Department has undertaken consultancy
work on behalf of Government Departments
such as Department of Education, Department
of Science and Technology and Department of
Rural Development. It has also provided
professional inputs to voluntary professional
associations such as Indian Society for technical
Education, All India Management Association etc.
4. INFRASTRUCTURE
The Department of Management Studies has 5 fully
airconditioned Wi-Fi enabled lecture theatres
equipped with LCD projectors to ensure the best
possible environment for learning. The auditorium
has a seating capacity of over 150 and hosts
numerous guest lectures, seminars and other
programmes. In addition to a large collection of
management books, the departmental library
houses one of the biggest collections of
management-related fieldwork reports available in
any institution.
6. RANKING & SELECTION PROCESS
Business Today has ranked it 14th among all
business schools in the country. Again, DMS has
emerged the top-ranked IIT business school.
The selection is on the basis of CAT examination.
The minimum graduation marks required is 60%
