4. Main Aim of the course This course is aimed at establishing the concept of IT and MIS in organizations. The course specifies how computer science, communication technology and managerial practices have been merged in today's business world. Activities The course would comprise of 32 lectures (1.5 hour). Examination The students would be evaluated on the basis of a written examination based on the lectures, text books and written material provided to them. This will comprise of 20% preliminary, 20% midterm, 10% quizzes (best 3 out of 5) and 10% assignments (best 3 out of 4). The remaining 40% will be allocated to final examination.
