2. •This is a journey about a community of Hero ‘s that are vastly
underserved! You will meet a woman who wanted to do something about
it. She knew in order to able to act, she had to make people aware! She
understood that starting a Non profit
•Was the first step.
3. THE BEGINNING
• The name Theo Shaw is an combination of my sister’s name and my father’s name. They
both have passed on unfortunately. My sister was the person who introduce me to
traumatically brain injured people. I started working with some in a facility. Then I was
asked by some of the client’s families to work with them privately. My sister was working
with her private clients already. We had decided to get our RN’s together. But tragically
my sister had a brain aneurysm, she was not aware of, And my parents and sibling’s
included.

6. THE EVOLUTION OF THEO SHAW
• So I had relocated from Michigan to Florida were my father
• was from originally. I had began working with an homecare
• agency. the client I had was an veteran. While I was waiting on
• him in The Veteran Hospital. I had an conversation with the
• wife of an vet, who had just returned from Iraq. She had told
• me of the struggles she was facing , My heart went out to her,
• She had stated that it was difficult to find an home health
• care agency that was just for brain injured vets that were returning and home.
7. THEO SHAW’S MISSION
• That’s when I came up with Theo Shaw, and I wanted it to be an Non profits that offers services to Brain Injured vets that
are here and returning from combat. And to be able to help them achieve economic empowerment .
