I like this poster very much as it is most of all presenting
drama towards the audience and this will therefore attract a
large audience and they will be curious of what is exactly
what is going on within this picture, this poster also involves a
quote from the Hollywood reporter which would make
people want to watch it even more as a well known source is
promoting it, in addition it also states that it has won an
award which will intrigue audiences even more. Also the
colour scheme is very simple which shows a sign of being
mysterious this is also backed up by the title as it is very
clouded and not very clear.
I like this poster more than the last as I believe the lighting
effect is very good and gives the poster a vey dramatic effect
and will intrigue and capture audiences much better than the
last, although this poster does not include any quotes or awards
this ,may be because they would like to keep it as simple as
possible, my evidence for this is the quote in the middle of the
poster which reads ”The fate of our country won’t be decided
on a battlefield, it will be determined in a classroom” which is a
very powerful quote that may shock many audiences and
therefore bring in more attention towards the documentary and
overall more media attention meaning it was very effective.

I also like this Documentary poster very much firstly because
of its dramatic effect as you can see the woman looking
blankly out of the widow is very thought provoking as it will
make people wonder what is going on with the woman, and
this links in with the name and font of the title as it keeps
audiences wondering what exactly is going on. All of these
dramatic effects companied by firstly the rating with makes
people want to watch it because if a reviewer is enjoying it
this provides a reason for people to give it a watch, the poster
also contains many awards which the documentary has won
which just makes people want to watch it even more.
This poster I did not enjoy as the others although I do not doubt
it is a very good poster but the reason it was not rated as highly
was that the photo was not as dramatic and effective in my
opinion as I did not create that sense of ‘I really need to watch
that’ unlike the others but aside from that the image is very
interesting as it shows the audience a relationship between two
penguins potentially a parent and child which many audiences
may find ‘cute’ and therefore distinguishes this documentary
from others as it has a very different style and vibe about it. This
poster also does not include reviews or awards although this
may be on purpose.
