1. It is an issue that a lot people have to deal with in education. It is effecting education
because the students are being mistreated by other students for not being from the good side of
town. What I mean by this the students from places like the trailer park and the projects
apartments. The other students make fun of them for being poor and not able to get all the great
things the students who have money can get. The students from other countries and of other
colors are being treated different from other students. They are told they can never be like the
students who are from this country. This a major problem I have seen in a lot of schools I have
worked at. In my school district there is a lot of foreigners in it and not a lot of interpreters’
there. But with all these problems going on they all still get good grades and are very high on the
academic standards lists.
