Accommodation is a group of rooms, or building which
someone may live or stay and is important to any tourists
who want to travel to another destination or on a trip as
you are always going to need a place to stay such as
hotels, caravan parks, camp sites etc.
Accommodation is split into two parts, serviced and non
serviced which are different from each other. They are all
in the private sector which means that they want to make
a profit and grow their businesses.

HOTELS MOTELS
A hotel is an establishment that offers
lodging, restaurants, swimming pools, and
spa services to tourists and any other
person visiting them. These facilities can
also hold meetings and conferences
because of their strategic location within
the cities. We can categorise hotels in
various ways, depending on their location
and size.
A motel is a hotel on a major highway
that offers ample parking and hotel
services for long-distance travellers.
Motels may have a one or two-floor
layout. This makes it easier for your
customers to access its rooms from the
car park. Motels offer short-term
accommodation to travellers, hence
fewer services.

GUESTHOUSE
A guest house (also
guesthouse) is a kind of
lodging. In some parts of the
world (such as the Caribbean),
guest houses are a type of
inexpensive hotel-like lodging.
In others, it is a private home
that has been converted for the
exclusive use of lodging.
An apartment (American
English), flat (British English,
Indian English, South African
English), or unit (Australian
English), is a self-contained
housing unit (a type of
residential real estate) that
occupies part of a building,

Villa is a standalone house
that comes with a yard or
veranda. These are usually
in areas where there are
other villas as well.

A hostel is a form of low-cost,
short-term shared sociable
lodging where guests can rent
a bed, usually a bunk bed in a
dormitory, with shared use of
a lounge and sometimes a
kitchen.
It is also a luxurious type of
accommodation. Resorts are
self contained commercial
accommodation, full fill the

Homestay is a type of
accommodation where one can
share a home with local of the
city or village.
The facilities offered by the
owner to the traveller are food,
internet, furniture.
The definition of a cottage varies
among cultures, but a cottage
tends to be a small, cozy home in
the countryside—often a summer
home or vacation home. Most
cottage-style houses are single-
story, but multi-story houses can
also be referred to as cottages,
depending on the context.

A tree house, tree fort or treeshed is a platform
or building constructed around, next to or
among the trunk or branches of one or more
mature trees while above ground level. Tree
houses can be used for recreation, work
space, habitation, a hangout space and
observation. People occasionally connect
ladders or staircases to get up to the platforms.
A farm stay (or farmstay) is any type of
accommodation on a working farm. Some farm
stays may be interactive. Some are family-
focused and offer children opportunities to feed
animals, collect eggs and learn how a farm
functions. Others do not allow children. The term
"farm stay" can also describe a work exchange
agreement, where the guest works a set number
of hours per week in exchange for free or
affordable accommodation.

Positioning is secondary for these hotels as they
focus on authenticity and personalization. They
capitalize on the desire for rich experiences by
incorporating elements such as nature and
environment, cuisine, history, local culture and
community, service and wellness.

environmentally sustainable hotel or
accommodation that has made
important environmental
improvements to its structure in
order to minimize its impact on the
