ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hitachi Storage Technologies:
 Managing HDS using Hi Command Device Manager & Storage Navigator.
 Adding new LUNs and expanding Existing LUNs to the hosts required and configuring them.
 Creating the host groups, mapping the WWN’s to the host groups.
 Provisioning and De-commissioning of allocated Logical Units. Expanding Logical Units.
 Knowledge in Mapping external storage and there LUN’s to front end Enterprise HDS array.
 Knowledge in Hitachi dynamic provisioning and Hitachi Dynamic Tiering.
 Very good understanding of Architecture of USPV, USPVM, and VSP.
 Working on Replication tools such as Shadow Image, True Copy and HUR.
 Working on Replications using CLI and HORCM Configuration files.
 Thorough knowledge of Monitoring HDLM and HGLM.
 Knowledge of Configuring the Hitachi Tuning Manager, Tier Storage Manager, and Virtualization for the
HDS storage environment
 Providing monthly report based on client-server-storage-space.
 Generating reports on Tuning Manager according to the needs of the issue and sending along with the
recommendations, if any.
EMC Storage Technologies:
 Experience on EMC Storage environment such as EMC Clarrion, VNX 5300, and VNX 5600.

 Coordinating with EMC team for Micro code upgrade, Disk and other hardware failures.
 Periodic monitoring and Health checking of whole SAN and NAS environment.

NetApp Storage Technologies:

 Configuring, Administration, Monitoring and Troubleshooting Netapp Filers like FAS6240, FAS3270,
FAS3240, and FAS2040.
 Upgraded Data ONTAP Version From 7.3.4 to 8.0.3 then to 8.1.3.
 Experience in administration of unified NetApp Storage subsystems both SAN & NAS.
 Configuring NetApp Filers Options command and Troubleshooting Filer Performance Issues.
 Managing important configuration files (/etc files).
 Created aggregates/volumes/qtrees/quotas/shares in a NetApp environment.

 Created and managed both iSCSI and FCP LUNs, and even worked on Cloning of LUNs and huge files as
the Client requested.
 Troubleshooting Issue with CIFS and NFS Performance.

 Implemented Snap Vault Technology in to the environment for disk to disk Backup.

 Recovered Lost Storage Data using Snap Restore, Flex Clone, Snap mirror and Snap Vault.
Fabric Technologies:
