A COMPANY THAT IS BUILT ON DREAMS
• In 1967 in Stockholm, Oriflame was started by two brothers Robert
and Jonas Af Jochnick and their friend Bengt Hellsten. They
decided to start their own business and to follow their dream.
• Oriflame grew to be the largest European direct-selling beauty
company with more than 3 million consultants worldwide and
annual turnover of approximately 1.5 billion euro.
• Today Oriflame is a global partner and the Official Cosmetics of
women’s professional tennis – the WTA (Women’s Tennis
Association).
• Since its launch in 1967, Oriflame has been dedicated to practices
that are good for people and the environment. Oriflame uses
natural ingredients and never tests its products on animals. With a
serious commitment to the environment and the communities it

• Our EcoBeauty range
EcoBeauty was the first global cosmetics range certified by Fairtrade®. But EcoBeauty does more than
just care for your skin — it changes lives. In the farming communities where we source the coconut oil
for EcoBeauty, the proceeds from sales provide training in biodiversity, organic farming and natural
resource management, and empowering women.
• Microbeads
Oriflame only use biodegradable, natural-origin beads in all of our exfoliating products. We want safe,
clean water because it is good for your health and the environment.
• Wellness Factory
Our Wellness factory in Rourkee, India has roof-mounted solar panels to use the sun to reduce power
consumption. Thanks to its many clever design solutions that focus on saving energy and creating a
healthy, environmentally friendly work place, it has earned LEED® (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design) Gold certification.
• Childhood Foundation
Oriflame has committed to donate €1 million to the World Childhood Foundation through sales of
Tenderly Promise. We want to do all we can to help vulnerable children in need have happier, healthier
and safer childhoods and brighter futures.
• Recyclable Future
In 2016, 99% of our catalogue paper came from credibly certified forests. We stopped more than 96% of
our manufacturing waste from going to landfills.

Social Responsibilities
• SOCIAL CAUSES
• Oriflame has always been a passionate supporter of fulfilling dreams. And
although this is part of our business philosophy, it extends beyond our
business into the charity work that we do – and have done since Oriflame
was founded in 1967.
• We strongly believe that by supporting the most vulnerable in society –
children and young women - we can help give them the opportunity to turn
their dreams into reality. This firm commitment to supporting self-help is
the guiding principle of our community involvement, and is also in line with
our Oriflame business model.
• In order to reach our full potential, we’ve gathered all our community work
under one umbrella – The Oriflame Foundation. Here we work with NGOs
and charity organisations that not only have extensive experience of
developing and running successful education-based initiatives but also
support our aims and values. These include the World Childhood
Foundation and SOS Childrens’s Villages, two global organisations we are
proud to continuously work with.
Deepalaya
• Oriflame believes that any investments made in the education of a girl,
translates directly and quickly into better health care, poverty reduction and
better overall economic performance of the family. Girl Child education has
a wide-ranging impact on many aspects of human survival and
development. Thus, ‘Oriflame Girl Child’ project is an endeavour to spread
the message that a community’s development is incomplete without the
education of girls.
• Under this project Oriflame has sponsored education of 1,000 girls from
Deepalaya, the largest operational NGO in Delhi. A grant of approximate 4
crores was given to Deepalaya for the ‘Oriflame Girl Child’ project. The
contribution has facilitated education of selected girls in the age bracket of
4 to 17 years. Through this project Oriflame aims to lead these girls towards
the path of education and bring out their latent talents.
Goonj
• There nothing more content & humbling than sharing & caring. This is the
idea behind Oriflame’s “Contribute Warmth”, campaign with NGO Goonj to
emphasize the positive impact that donating can have on society. In this
cause Oriflame Employees and our leaders supported us in our our mission
to provide independence and dignity to people in our community.
Hand in Hand
• Entrepreneurial ship has always been a focus for Oriflame and that’s the
reason in November 2006, a grant of 30 crores was given from af Jochnick
Foundation to Hand in Hand - an NGO operational since 1988 in Tamil Nadu.
The grant is used by Hand in Hand for running Self Help Groups (SHG) and
Microfinance Projects in specific areas of general training for SHG members,
women´s literacy programme and medium-sized enterprises. The goal is to
empower poor rural women who are members of SHGs to ultimately
become entrepreneurs and set-up enterprises in order to bring in more
income to the families.
• The focus of Hand in Hand’s Self Help Groups and Microfinance Projects are
to alleviate rural poverty and empower women. This is done by forming
women into Self Help Groups, training them in capacity building and skills
development and helping them to build sustainable livelihoods for
themselves and their families. Most of them are first of all taught basic
reading, writing and arithmetic through a 100-day literacy course.
• One such Self Help Group is running a crisp bakery and have had great
success (adjudged the “Best Micro-Enterprise” managed by SHG women in
India and given the Presidents Award). The Paper Cup unit, Citizen’s Centre,
Aina Tailoring Unit, Adult Literacy Training, a Broiler Farm are some of the
many other projects initiated by Hand In Hand.
• Oriflame India continuously supports Hand in Hand with, for example,
hosting fund raising events in our Support Office facilities in New Delhi .
The World Childhood Foundation
• Every child has a right to a childhood, to security, joy, playfulness and curiosity
about life. Sadly, many children are devoid of these fundamental rights. The World
Childhood Foundation, founded by HM Queen Silvia of Sweden and co-founded by
Oriflame, helps the most marginalised children around the world. Through this
inspiring foundation, we reach out to vulnerable street children, sexually abused
children and children in institutions.
SOS Children's Villages
• The heart of SOS Children’s Villages is dedicated to family-based, long-term care of
children who are unable to grow up with their biological families. Today, just as it
began 60 years ago, the mission remains the same: every child belongs to a family,
every child grows with love and every child grows with respect.

Deepalaya • Oriflame believes that any investments made in the education of a girl, translates directly and quickly into better health care, poverty reduction and better overall economic performance of the family. Girl Child education has a wide-ranging impact on many aspects of human survival and development. Thus, ‘Oriflame Girl Child’ project is an endeavour to spread the message that a community’s development is incomplete without the education of girls. • Under this project Oriflame has sponsored education of 1,000 girls from Deepalaya, the largest operational NGO in Delhi. A grant of approximate 4 crores was given to Deepalaya for the ‘Oriflame Girl Child’ project. The contribution has facilitated education of selected girls in the age bracket of 4 to 17 years. Through this project Oriflame aims to lead these girls towards the path of education and bring out their latent talents. Goonj • There nothing more content & humbling than sharing & caring. This is the idea behind Oriflame’s “Contribute Warmth”, campaign with NGO Goonj to emphasize the positive impact that donating can have on society. In this cause Oriflame Employees and our leaders supported us in our our mission to provide independence and dignity to people in our community.

Hand in Hand • Entrepreneurial ship has always been a focus for Oriflame and that’s the reason in November 2006, a grant of 30 crores was given from af Jochnick Foundation to Hand in Hand - an NGO operational since 1988 in Tamil Nadu. The grant is used by Hand in Hand for running Self Help Groups (SHG) and Microfinance Projects in specific areas of general training for SHG members, women´s literacy programme and medium-sized enterprises. The goal is to empower poor rural women who are members of SHGs to ultimately become entrepreneurs and set-up enterprises in order to bring in more income to the families. • The focus of Hand in Hand’s Self Help Groups and Microfinance Projects are to alleviate rural poverty and empower women. This is done by forming women into Self Help Groups, training them in capacity building and skills development and helping them to build sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. Most of them are first of all taught basic reading, writing and arithmetic through a 100-day literacy course. • One such Self Help Group is running a crisp bakery and have had great success (adjudged the “Best Micro-Enterprise” managed by SHG women in India and given the Presidents Award). The Paper Cup unit, Citizen’s Centre, Aina Tailoring Unit, Adult Literacy Training, a Broiler Farm are some of the many other projects initiated by Hand In Hand. • Oriflame India continuously supports Hand in Hand with, for example, hosting fund raising events in our Support Office facilities in New Delhi .

The World Childhood Foundation, founded by HM Queen Silvia of Sweden and co-founded by Oriflame, helps the most marginalised children around the world. Through this inspiring foundation, we reach out to vulnerable street children, sexually abused children and children in institutions. SOS Children's Villages • The heart of SOS Children’s Villages is dedicated to family-based, long-term care of children who are unable to grow up with their biological families.
