2. Objectives of the project
• 1.4.1 Main Objective.
 To design a portable, easy to use and easy to assemble water purification system that will attain the World
Health Organization (WHO) standards of drinking water.
• 1.4.2 Specific Objectives
 To design a filter media focusing on test significance of pressure application on straining filtration.
 Design adsorption medial while holding straining filter media constant
 To evaluate the efficiency of the system in the removal of the targeted contaminants such as bacteriological
and virus in water.
