COCLUSION
Eco-friendly is used to refer to
goods and services, laws, guidelines
and policies considered to have
minimum or no harm on the
environment.
 Responsibility in our hands to
create an eco friendly world.
INTRODUCTION
WHY WE SHOULD CARE ECO-FRIENDLY
To reduce global warming
To maintain ecological balance
To avoid deforestation
To reduce exploitation of resources
To adapt green way as it’s the best way
GREEN TECHNOLOGY
 It is a technology which is environmentally friendly, developed and
used in such a way so that it doesn’t disturb our environment and
conserves natural resources.
 It is also known as environmental and clean technology
BRANCHES OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY
 Green Energy
 Green Chemistry
 Green IT
 Green Building
 Green Nanotechnology
GREEN CHEMISTRY
 The invention, design and application
of chemical products and processes to
reduce or to eliminate the use of
hazardous substances.
GREEN ENERGY
 Green energy comes
from natural sources
such as
 Sunlight
 wind, rain, tides
 Plants, algae
 and geothermal heat
GREEN IT
 Green IT aims to minimize the
negative impact of on the
environment due to IT
operations.
 This involves design,
manufacturing, operation and
disposal of computers and
computer-related products in an
environmentally-friendly manner
GREEN NANO TECHNOLOGY
 What is nanotechnology? Refers to products with dimension in
nanometre scale. E.g., nano coating on solar panels provides self
cleaning
 This enhances environment sustainability and maximum energy
efficiency
 There are many nano technology products are used in medical
(drugs) also.
GREEN BUILDING
 Green building refers to the buildings with efficient use of
energy, water and materials
 Improve efficiency through better design, construction,
operation, and maintenance.
 Ex: National library-SINGAPORE, India tower-MUMBAI
RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
 Solar power
 Wind power
 Hydroelectricity
 Bio fuel
 Bio gas
 Geothermal energy
SOLAR POWER
 Solar power is the conversion of sunlight
into electricity using photovoltaics (PV).
 It can be used for powering houses,
communication and battery recharges
WIND POWER
 Wind turbines converts the kinetic
energy in the wind into mechanical power
that runs a generator to produce clean
electricity.
 Wind energy contributes only 1% of
global electricity generation- but it is
continuously increasing
HYDROELECTRICITY
 Hydroelectricity uses the energy of
flowing water to make electricity.
 Hydro-electric stations are built where
there is Running water is stored.
BIO FUEL
 Fuel made from biological sources like
Straw, Wood, Wood waste, Sugarcane and
by products from agriculture industry.
 Ex: corn, soybean
ECO-FRIENDLY FERTILIZERS
ORGANIC BIO – FERTILIZERS
Organic bio- fertilizers are eco- friendly
fertilizers which are being used to improve the
quality and fertility of the soil.
Bio-fertilizers are made from biological wastes
and they do not contain any chemicals. These
fertilizers fixes atmospheric nitrogen in the soil.
The main sources of bio-fertilizers are bacteria,
fungi and cyno bacteria (blue- green algae).
NEEM BASED FERTILIZERS
The neem are not only great eco-friendly
fertilizers but also have no after effects.
Neem is used to as a fertilizer both for food as
well as cash crops, particularly vegetable and
sugarcane.
ECO FRIENDLY HOUSES
 They include nature favourable products.
 Natural resources , such as sunlight,
should be used to cut down on the use of
electricity.
 Rainwater harvesting, solar water
heating systems and sewage treatment
plants are being promoted by builders in
most their projects.
ECOFRIENDLYFURNITURES
Less use of wood and more use of waste
products.
Eco- furniture's easily separated and
recycled
They made from sunflower board, wheat
panels ,wrought iron, etc.
HYDROGEN CAR
 Water powered cars or hydrogen/oxygen powered cars,
use 100% water as fuel by splitting. Water electrolysis
and creating hydrogen/oxygen gas, you can replace
gasoline.
 If we stopped producing SMOG, the ozone and global
warming and greenhouse effects would go away or atleast
we can have control on it.
ELECTRIC CARS AND BIKES
 Electric car generally refers to road-going automobiles powered
by electricity.
 An electric car powered by sunlight is a solar car, and an electric
car powered by a gasoline generator is a form of hybrid car.
 YO-bike runs on battery and is most economical two-wheeler in
the world.
 For a Y0-bike that costs less then the cheapest petrol scooter,
having self- start, almost zero maintenance cost and almost zero
running cost, and totally zero fear.
GARDEN PEAS
 If harvested in a sustainable fashion, pea plants will even help to
enrich the soil with all that extra nitrogen, making them a true
environmental hero in the vegetable world.
BROCCOLI
 This means farmers can grow broccoli without the need for excess
chemicals. Here’s a bonus: those same compounds in broccoli that fight
off bugs are also thought to keep certain human cancers at bay
PEARS
 The nutrient and water requirements for pear cultivation are similar to
the growing needs for apples. As a result, speedy and inefficient
transportation isn’t necessary, and of course saving energy is what eco
friendly foods are all about If you’re interested in the local food
movement, pears are a good choice.
FISHES
 If you’re more of a land-based omnivore, stick to chicken, because
environmentally harmful emissions are associated with beef (and, to a
lesser extent, pork).
ECO FRIENDLY FOODS
 In some areas of green technologies such as water recycling and purification
through natural less destructive renewable methods used for seawater in the
dessert environment is not burden with the waste while creating opportunity to
produce various products a fresh.
 These materials having multiples characteristic making electronics circuits,
tiny, flexible, stretchable and capable of dissolvable completely or partially
enable us keeps our earth sustainable through reducing the amount of
electronic waste polluting the landfill.
ECO FRIENDLY TECHNIQUES
 Water Jug Meets Mainframe
 Solar Speakers
 Alarmingly Efficient
 Eco Computers
EXAMPLES OF ECO FRIENDLY TECHNIQUES
Running an environmentally friendly business helps you reduce
your impact on the environment and preserves natural
resources. Our business can help the environment in many
ways. For example, we can:
 Use products that reduce your reliance on natural
resources (e.g. rainwater tanks, solar hot water
systems)
 Use products that are made from recycled material
(e.g. office supplies made from recycled plastic,
furniture made from recycled rubber)
 Look at all your business activities to see if you can
do anything differently (e.g. reducing air travel by
holding conference calls instead of interstate
meetings).
 Making your business environmentally friendly not
only benefits the environment but can also save you
BENEFITS OF AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUSINESS
ISSUES ON GANESH CHATURTHI STATUES
THE PROBLEMS
THE SOLUTIONS
By using “PLASTER OF PARIS” chemical to pollute
the sea or inland water bodies such as lakes and
streams , the chemicals in these idols dissolve in the
water polluted.
Always go for those made of unbaked natural clay
natural fibre or even recycled paper. Ensure that the
dyes used to colour the idols are organic or vegetable
in origin.
CONCLUSION
 Ensure to use 100% renewable sources. Use
of recyclable materials prolongs the materials
lifespan in ecological and economic cycles.
 Use recycled products and green technologies
By using these eco friendly
techniques/products, we can able to control
the pollution level of environment. So we can
get clean and safe environment.
Go for Green Technology- Save the earth for
generations!!!

ECO-FRIENDLY FERTILIZERS ORGANIC BIO – FERTILIZERS Organic bio- fertilizers are eco- friendly fertilizers which are being used to improve the quality and fertility of the soil. Bio-fertilizers are made from biological wastes and they do not contain any chemicals. These fertilizers fixes atmospheric nitrogen in the soil. The main sources of bio-fertilizers are bacteria, fungi and cyno bacteria (blue- green algae). NEEM BASED FERTILIZERS The neem are not only great eco-friendly fertilizers but also have no after effects. Neem is used to as a fertilizer both for food as well as cash crops, particularly vegetable and sugarcane.
  • 12. ECO FRIENDLY HOUSES  They include nature favourable products.  Natural resources , such as sunlight, should be used to cut down on the use of electricity.  Rainwater harvesting, solar water heating systems and sewage treatment plants are being promoted by builders in most their projects. ECOFRIENDLYFURNITURES Less use of wood and more use of waste products. Eco- furniture's easily separated and recycled They made from sunflower board, wheat panels ,wrought iron, etc.
  • 13. HYDROGEN CAR  Water powered cars or hydrogen/oxygen powered cars, use 100% water as fuel by splitting. Water electrolysis and creating hydrogen/oxygen gas, you can replace gasoline.  If we stopped producing SMOG, the ozone and global warming and greenhouse effects would go away or atleast we can have control on it. ELECTRIC CARS AND BIKES  Electric car generally refers to road-going automobiles powered by electricity.  An electric car powered by sunlight is a solar car, and an electric car powered by a gasoline generator is a form of hybrid car.  YO-bike runs on battery and is most economical two-wheeler in the world.  For a Y0-bike that costs less then the cheapest petrol scooter, having self- start, almost zero maintenance cost and almost zero running cost, and totally zero fear.
  • 14. GARDEN PEAS  If harvested in a sustainable fashion, pea plants will even help to enrich the soil with all that extra nitrogen, making them a true environmental hero in the vegetable world. BROCCOLI  This means farmers can grow broccoli without the need for excess chemicals. Here’s a bonus: those same compounds in broccoli that fight off bugs are also thought to keep certain human cancers at bay PEARS  The nutrient and water requirements for pear cultivation are similar to the growing needs for apples. As a result, speedy and inefficient transportation isn’t necessary, and of course saving energy is what eco friendly foods are all about If you’re interested in the local food movement, pears are a good choice. FISHES  If you’re more of a land-based omnivore, stick to chicken, because environmentally harmful emissions are associated with beef (and, to a lesser extent, pork). ECO FRIENDLY FOODS
