• The impact Covid-19 has created in China and the lockdown in India, United
States, and other countries, further increases the chances of shoot up in the
cost of raw materials and drugs.
• Many countries rely heavily on imports of their APIs from China. As a result of
COVID 19 lockdowns, production of APIs has slowed down resulting in less
availability and higher costs of the material.
• Digital health might be the next big thing as telemedicine / video
consultations, health-related videos and apps are gaining popularity.
• Supply and distribution of essential medicines, sanitizers, masks, gloves, etc.
are impacted. Also there is a slow down in production in raw materials and
ancillaries not reaching factories.
