DMP uses a matrix of metal pins on the
electromagnet print head to create dots.
The ink soaked ribbon is placed between the
paper and print head. The number of metal
pins in the dot matrix printers varies from 9
to24. The best quality printers have 24 metal

7. Inkjet Printers
The Inkjet Printer Places extremely
minute amount of electrically charged
ink on paper to create image or text.
The drops of charged ink are sprayed
through saeries of nozzles. These
drops are amoutn 0.6 microns.
