I am a natural networker. I remain
unconvinced that people can learn to be great
networkers – they can only learn "what" to
do, "how" to do it and then try to execute.
They can perhaps become "good" networkers,
but there's a limit.
A concerted effort by attending meetings
regularly, following the rules, participating in
events and making the occasional referral to
a fellow networker have a positive effect and
improve your chances of success while
traveling the twisted, winding networking trail.
However, all of this activity doesn't make you
great at networking.
