A Chartered Engineer (Civil) with over 2 decades of experience in the field of civil engineering..Adept in
Contract Management (including Preparing of NIT, Analysis of rate, Arbitration etc) Construction Management
& Project Planning, executed various projects involving method engineering, quality control, resource planning
with a flair for adopting modern construction methodologies in compliance to quality standards and ensuring on
time deliverables. Successfully executed various kinds of projects such as residential and commercial buildings ,
schools, hospitals, and construction of infrastructures works such as roads, bridges, water supply works etc.
ORGANIZATION EXPERIANCE .
 The Growth Path; Served in Government Sector, APWD for 20 Years, initially as Junior Engineer, later
promoted as Assistant Engineer and then as acting Executive Engineer .
 Then join in a private sector as Senior Engineer then promoted as Project Manager in one of the most
reputed Real Estate Company in Kolkata (From June 2005 to Feb2007)
 During March 2007 joined as Assistant General Manager and later promoted as General Manager in one
of the most reputed Infrastructure and Real Estate Company in Kolkata (From March 2007 to 2012). Under
the strength of the company executed various Infrastructure and Real Estate project including PPP projects.
 At present Project Director / Chief technical advisor of one Real estate firm and one Infrastructure firm and
a Project Management Consultancy firm.

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
 Preparation of estimates, N.I.T and Tender documents (As per CPWD and MORTH Specification and
CPWD Manual)
 Securitization of tender and tender analysis of different civil engineering .projects.
 Finalization of tender, Preparation of contract agreement. billing etc.
 Requirement of fund and Distribution of budget.
 Arbitration : Settlement of arbitration cases of contractor.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
 Preparation of Schedule of Program of works.
 Preparing recourse planning.
 Preparation of cash flow statement.
 Participate in project review meetings for evaluating project progress.
 Provide technical inputs to construction methodology.
 Evaluation of project and actively involved in project cost / benefit analysis / feasibility study of the
project.
 Finalization of requirements and specifications in consultation with collaborators / promoters.
JOB SUMMARY .
As Senior Technical Advisor of the organization and provides oversight and technical input and implementation of
program activities for an anticipated development program and advice necessary technical program implementation
and overall monitoring of the project.
 Overall management of technical workforce and co-ordination with stakeholders/ Board of Director.
 Conduct technical needs assessment of the services and sub activities of the projects to be implemented.
 Develop a project framework, activities and sub-activities with clear objectives: identifying the services,
tasks, and activities to be enhanced as well as key staff roles and their job descriptions in accomplishing
program objectives.
 Providing technical and program management guidance to the program’s field implementation team in
order to achieve quality targeted results, in the following areas in particular:
 Develop; implement, and measure the impact of a high level capacity building plan based on a
methodological needs assessment, engage relevant partners in the different phases of capacity building,
while ensuring that the capacity building plan is based on the project framework.
 Regularly travel to the field in coordination with the relevant technical staff and stakeholders, to ensure
quality field implementation and troubleshoot issues to support continuous community activities.
 Serve as a technical resource and reference to component leads and service providers, providing guidance
and follow up support on overall program model design, indicators of success, development and
implementation of work plans, quality assurance activities, and timelines.
 Participate in meetings with strategic stakeholders as needed.
 All other tasks required and assigned by management.
PROJECTS HANDLED .
Buildings : Constructed high rise residential building accommodation of RCC frame structure at different location.
 (a) Constructed various Real Estate Project including one of the most prestigious project (Integrated
township) in Kolkata. Constructed residential and commercial projects ( such as Shopping mall,
commercial offices etc) including construction of all infrastructure such as U.G.R, Rain Water Harvesting,
(Filtration Plant etc), drainage system, Sewerage system, swimming pool, roads, Fire Protection System etc
 (b) Constructed Township which includes largest housing projects in Andaman & Nicobar Islands
comprising RCC frame structure of different types including all infrastructure and development work.
 (d) Constructed Engineering Collage, Medical Collage and Hospital, Circuit house etc
 (f) Engaged in Quality control Division of PWD.
Roads & Bridges :
 Constructed State highway in different location of Bihar, WestBengal, Maharastra
 Constructed extension of Airport at Portblair.
 Constructed Aircraft Dispersal area at Portblair.
 Constructed some stretch of Andaman Trunk Road including development work.
 Constructed RCC bridge (Open and Pile foundation) on hill stream on Andaman Trunk Road.
 Constructed Helipad at Campbell bay.
Water Supply & Sanitary:
 Constructed dam in Nayakhali, South Andaman.
 Constructed water treatment plant (WTP) including rainwater harvesting in Kokata.
 Constructed Sewerage treatment plant (STP) in Kokata
 Water supply works including construction of Filter bed, Sump, CWR, Over head tank & laying of
Distribution pipe lines in township at different location.
Maintenance Work:
 Maintenance of residential and non-residential building, district and State Highway, bridges and water
supply of township etc..
CO-ORDINATION : .
 Liaison with the Government Agencies to obtain all technical sanctions, environmental clearance, fire
fighting, and other approvals required for smooth execution of real estate projects
 Liaison with architects & consultants on determining technical specifications, commissioning &
preparation of building plans as per the Government Guidelines.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT & RESOURSE PLANNING :
 Anchor on construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and
effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
 Periodical inspection of all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of
construction & coordination with site management activities.
 Advise team of engineers for various types of job and resolving bottlenecks.
 Identify & develop alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories
& timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
 Resource planning and ensure that equipment/materials received are in accordance with the quantity &
quality.
