The NEW Normal of Schooling
• Most private schools are closed or at the edge of closing, parents
are not paying fee of their kids (are you paying your children’s fee?)
• Parents are scared to send their children to schools and children are
scared of mingling with people especially those who have
witnessed COVID 19 patients at their homes
• Online classes/ Home Schooling is becoming new trend in
education
• The concept of schooling has become a challenge and nobody
knows when the pandemics is going to end
• Teachers have lost jobs especially those who do not have
technological skills

Content Knowledge(CK)
• This knowledge would include knowledge of
concepts, theories, ideas, organizational
frameworks, knowledge of evidence and proof,
as well as established practices and approaches
toward developing such knowledge.
• Knowledge and the nature of inquiry differ
greatly between fields, and teachers should
understand the deeper knowledge
fundamentals of the disciplines in which they
teach.

(PK)
• This generic form of knowledge applies to
understanding how students learn, general
classroom management skills, lesson planning,
and student assessment.
• It includes knowledge about techniques or
methods used in the classroom; the nature of
the target audience; and strategies for
evaluating student understanding.

Technological Knowledge (TK)
• Requires a deeper, more essential
understanding and mastery of information
technology for information processing,
communication, and problem solving than does
the traditional definition of computer literacy.
• AcquiringTK enables a person to accomplish a
variety of different tasks using information
technology and to develop different ways of
accomplishing a given task
