Designed Quality Management System to ensure compliance with Federal Drug and
Administration’s Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and International Standard Organization
(ISO) 13485:2003;
Results: Registered company as a Medical Device Manufacturer and product as a Class I
Medical Device; Gained approved supplier status GE Healthcare OEC(largest distributor) on first
attempt.
Researched and developed revenue recognition policies for service and software business units
established through acquisition.
Results: Written revenue recognition policy supported revenue of acquired business and was
used in training of sales and marketing team. Detailed policy explanation resulted in fewer
audited transactions and no changes to revenue during financial audit.
Developed general ledger account mapping to translate French generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP) to follow US GAAP.
Results: Mapping process allowed French subsidiary to participate in annual strategic planning
process and budgeting without additional headcount. Mapping also allows additional analysis to
be done by parent company in the sates without access to subsidiaries financial system,
streamlining financial reporting.
Coordinated and developed strategic planning process for $ 25 million high-tech manufacturing
company. Organized and directed vision and mission, critical success factor and functional
planning sessions.
Results: Clarified company direction, solidified cross-functional cooperation and developed
functional reporting and accountability.
Developed and facilitated monthly operations review for senior and mid-level management.
Researched and developed monthly operations review document that includes financial and
core process reporting and benchmarking used by managers to evaluate company successes.
Results: Monthly reporting and discussion has assisted in the reduction of inventory by 25%
over one year as well as improved internal lead reporting and processing.
Designed and managed all budgeting and forecasting models used in analysis of company
growth and reporting. Developed full financial models (income statement, balance sheet and
cash flow statements) used in monthly revenue and expense budgeting as well as daily financial
reports (dashboard) used by senior staff to evaluate and report on financial targets.
Results: Financial models are flexible enough to be used monthly and quarterly to evaluate
revenue and expense scenarios. Actual results against plans and variances are reviewed

Researched and developed financial model for evaluation of acquisition. Used historical trends
and employee interviews to evaluate company financials and develop business models and
forecasts to formulate tender offer.
Results: Processes and models used for evaluation are currently being used in additional
acquisition analysis.
Researched and evaluated procedures in order entry and invoicing process for Distribution
Company after switch over to new accounting system created lost revenue. Analyzed cross-
functional processes and procedures to determine root cause of delay in invoicing.
Results: Process re-design policies were implemented to eliminate $ 1.2 million in un-invoiced
orders and enabled next day invoicing.
Evaluated, purchased, installed and managed accounting software for service manufacturing
company. Researched software for functionality evaluated and converted historical data, and
developed processes and procedures to train all employees on invoicing and accounts
receivable functions.
Results: Reduced billing time from 72 hours to 24 hours. Increased flow of information to all
managers through reporting.
Led a cross-functional team in recreating 3 days worth of accounting transactions lost during a
system hardware failure. Researched all departmental transactions to recreate each and every
financial transaction and develop backup data to support each transaction.
Results: Was able to account for all but three inventory transactions. Evaluated and re-
designed processes and procedures to ensure that any kind of system failure would not result in
catastrophic loss of data.
Researched and gathered required data to support the due diligence effort for $ 6.5 million
equity funding round.
Results: Developed a notebook of key metrics and background data that shortened the time to
complete the closing.
Converted invoicing information from two separate accounting packages into Microsoft access
database reporting that allowed for the billing of one years worth of state taxes that were
previously uncollected. Researched the tax amounts due and wrote reports that automatically
computed the tax needed. Implemented procedures to properly compute and collect the taxes
as required.
Results: Invoiced the customers directly and decreased the amount of taxes paid out of the
company coffers by 40%.
Developed a financial model to evaluate feasibility of new products and their affect on margins
for product planning committee.
Results: Successfully gained approval for six new products using financial model in combination
with market data.
