to the Veterans Community Media Center (at 1720 Market Street). This effort to ‘reach out’ to a broader community of
veterans was led by Comm. Caldera, who will report on arrangements made and lead further discussion.
B. Discussion and Potential Action regarding Commission support and possible endorsement of a RESOLUTION in
support of City Government Lawsuit to insure continuing operation of S.F. City College, thereby supporting the 1300
Veteran students attending (Comm. Noetzel, Lead).
C. Discussion and Potential Action regarding Commission support for a formal request to RESCIND the December 2009
City Code authorization which added TWO Commission Seats (one Mayoral Appointed, one BOS), thereby returning
Commission strength to the original authorized membership of 15 (fifteen).
D. Discussion and Potential Action regarding Commission support and possible endorsement of the CYBERPATRIOT
program, a national high school Cyber Defense Competition, sponsored by the Air Force Association.
E. Discussion and Potential Action regarding the BACKLOG of CLAIMS at the VA. Commission will reserve reasonable time
for presentation/Discussion of this issue by both Guests and Commissioners.
F. Discussion and Potential Action regarding Calif. Legislature Bil AB639, the CA Homeless Veterans Services Bill.

Veterans Challenge Swim event called
“TAKE THE ROCK” as introduced by event leader Mr. Maurice Delmer, at the September VAC meeting.

8. Honors Report and Moment of Silence: In memory of American Armed Service members who have made the ultimate
sacrifice in all wars and conflicts, plus the passing of homeless veterans and veterans who died while waiting approval of benefits
requests and suicides within the veterans and armed services community.
