Working with: Omega Insurance Brokers LLC, Dubai – since June 2013
Job responsibilities:
• Handling entire day to day activities of life Insurance department.
• Liaise with Insurance companies for solving queries and routine business
which includes:
o Fresh or revised quotes & service follow ups
o Follow up for weekly statements of accounts
• Processing the life insurance agent’s commission statement and present the
statements for management’s approval & pass necessary accounting entries in
system.
• Processing new policy business & service requests which would include:
o Scrutiny of Application, validation & identification of high and low risk
clients.
o Verify and scrutinize for mortgage cases, third party payment cases and
policy servicing cases for adherence of proper documentations and for
meeting all requirements.
• One touch point for sales team for solving their queries and following up with
insurance companies.
• Preparation of overdue report and indemnity exposure.
• Execution of other assignments, review work and reporting the status to
managing director.
• Understand; evaluate operation of accounting and internal control systems,
offering recommendation for any weaknesses noted in routine process.
• Involved in discussions and meetings for finalization of MIS with
management & auditors to forward final deliverables.
• To work on Praktora(Insurance application) software –
o Entering New application in software
o Update on regular basis
o Preparation of JV,DN,RV and PV in software.
