This document provides guidance for new bus operators on proper bus positioning throughout their shift, including making turns, approaching and positioning at bus stops, boarding and alighting in hazardous conditions, and positioning the bus for turns on one-way and two-way streets as well as at stops along the Transit Way. It also covers emergency customer transfers and positioning the bus back at the facility at the end of the shift while leaving walkways clear.
