2. • Ryan Sellstrom – Actor and Printwork
• Johnson Lawrence – Director and editing
• Josie Bruce – Actor and Printwork
• Abbie – Editing and music
Together, we must create a campaign that consists of a
Trailer, Poster and Magazine cover that fits within the
thriller genre.
3. • Thriller Sub-Genre: Horror
• Intended target audience: 15-25
• Setting: Forest and isolated road
• Idea: Our teaser trailer will consist of a serial hunting his way down to
kill teenagers. In the trailer, the masked killer will be portrayed as
somebody who is quite mysterious. The plan is to have him lurking in
the background of some of the shots, although not visible enough for
the audience to see him the first time they watch it. We want him to
be in every shot, whether its his POV or if he's in the background, we
want to create the feel that he's always there and he's always
watching. The main character will be seen driving, when the car
suddenly stops. The killer hunts him down and is there,
then there's cuts of him running through the forest with the killer
running behind him.
4. • As a group we had created a shot list of how we wanted
our trailer to look, from that we then created a storyboard,
which was a picture-version of our shot list to give us
more of an understanding. After taking a picture from of
each picture, we then created an Animatic, and animatic
is simply the storyboard put together in an editing
software in the way that we would edit our trailer, to give
an idea of how our trailer would look.

8. Ryan – I decided to
create an Empire
Magazine cover
because I feel Empire
suit the genre of our
film. I felt the pictures
we planned to take
definitely wouldn’t suit a
Sight&Sound cover as
they’re a more
serious/professional
magazine, and also a
magazine that doesn’t
really appeal to our
