Russell (Rusty) Rahm co-founded Subco Fresno, one of the
biggest media networks in the country, and leads Millennium
Marketing as president and chief executive officer. Rusty
Rahm studied business at Des Moines Area Community
College, which honors faculty and staff through a number of
awards.
Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) recognizes
staff and faculty for outstanding service to the college through
its President’s Day awards, which will be announced on
October 20, 2017. The following are a few President’s Day
awards:
- The Distinguished Faculty Award. This award recognizes
excellence in teaching and contributions to the education
process at the college. Any employee can nominate faculty
members, who must have two years of full-time service at the
college to be eligible for the award.

3. Des Moines Area Community College
 - Distinguished Service Award. The Distinguished
Service Award recognizes a full-time staff or faculty
member who has gone above and beyond his or her
regular job responsibilities. Examples of such service
include participation in special projects and creation
of innovative programs or initiatives.
- Distinguished Customer Service Award. This
award is designed to honor employees who have
gone beyond expectations in providing superior
services to college constituencies, including
students, customers, partners, vendors, or
stakeholders.
