Objective:
Further my career by utilizing my experience, gaining more experience and a greater understanding
of the aviation industry.
Experience:
1998-2000: Worked as a blimp mechanic and traveled the country with a 15 man crew. Responsible
for daily maintenance, 50 & 100 hour inspections arranged to have parts and supplies shipped to the
next destination and assisted with annual inspections.
2000-2004: Worked for three different repair stations, where I became familiar with aircraft systems,
rigging and trouble shooting on several different airframes.
2004-2005: Left aviation for a short period to run a small distribution business, sold books and gifts to
schools, doctor’s offices and other businesses in Pensacola, FL.
2005-Present: AAR-OKC/ AAR-ABQ after short time as a maintenance contractor I went direct where
I have worked as a mechanic, alternate lead, lead, inspector and lead inspector.
April 2012 I transferred to the Albuquerque NM division and worked as a Maintenance
Planner/Controller. Duties include building maintenance work packages, daily/monthly aircraft status
reports, working with supply to insure all tooling and parts are available as needed. Act as inspector,
trainer and customer representative during heavy maintenance visits, as needed. I assisted in writing
a Repair Station Quality Manual, to change AAR-ABQ from operating as a satellite facility to receive
its own FAA Repair Station Certificate. Made and suggested changes to Boeing Task cards to
improve/fit our particular operation. I have written several polices for our Policy and Procedure
