2. Statement of the Problem
This study determined the effects of internet access of the respondents to their
writing skills.
More specifically, the study aimed to answer the following problems:
1. What is the frequency of internet access of the respondents?
2. What is the level of composition writing skill of the respondents considering?
a. Unity
b. Coherence
c. Organization
3. Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of
composition writing skill to their frequency of their internet access to?
4. What activity plan should be done to sustain/improve/maximize the internet
access of students in enhancing their writing skills?

4. Research Design
The descriptive – correlational method of research
was used in this study.
Participants of the Study
The participants of this study were the grade 12-
HUMSS students of TVTS-Main.
There were 36 respondents. Total enumeration and
sampling procedure was utilized.
5. Instrumentation
1. Survey was used to get the frequency of internet
access of the respondents.
2. Writing test was utilized to get the level of
writing skills of the respondents.
3. Rubric was used to check the respondents
output considering unity, organization, and
coherence.
6. Data Analysis
Weighted mean distribution was used to determine the
respondents’ frequency of
internet access. Frequency and percentage distribution
distribution was use to check the level of writing
skills of the respondents. Pearson-r was used to
determine the relationship of internet access
to their level of writing skill in terms of unity, coherence
and organization. The qualitative
data from the survey and in checking their writing
output.
