existing Cloud Platform inexpensively. Achieved Federal certification, protecting $150M in recurring revenue.
Launched consumer Cloud IaaS platform in 60 days. Terremark had opportunity to join VMWare in the launch of
vCloud Express and claim market leadership in consumer Cloud services. Directed design, development and
deployment of infrastructure within 60 days, leading to successful product launch at VMWorld Conference.
Architected Vulnerability Management Program to reduce risk. Acquisition of Terremark put spotlight on
Verizon security issues. Led cross-functional in formulating new, robust vulnerability management program.
Eliminated backlog of aged security issues and developed sustainable program for future vulnerability remediation.
Developed Agile Operations Framework to improve productivity 20%. With demand for engineering services
outpacing supply, applied Agile principals to IT engineering organization to streamline operations for faster

CAREER HISTORY
Director, Operational Support Systems, Verizon Enterprise, 2011-2015. Following acquisition by Verizon, IT
operations responsibilities extended to include Colocation, Managed Services and Cloud portfolio of over 240
systems from both Terremark and Verizon Business. Saved millions through consolidation and virtualization.
Completed gap analysis, formulated and executed plans to meet more stringent HIPAA technical security controls.
Sr. Manager, Operational Support Systems, Terremark Worldwide, 2007-2011. Following acquisition by
Terremark, responsibilities extended to include IT-based systems management functions for Colocation, Cloud and
Managed Services. Launched new Cloud IaaS offerings for consumer and enterprise. Extended services into
Europe and Latin America and expanded vertical markets to include Healthcare, Federal and Public Sector.
Sr. Manager, Information Technology, Data Return, LLC 2003-2007. Responsible for multiple post-acquisition
efforts to consolidate and reorganize IT teams and systems including: Corporate IT, Network Engineering,
Information Security and Operational Support Systems. Achieved $2M annualized savings by eliminating hundreds
of non-essential systems. Reengineered processes reducing rework by 25% and increasing customer satisfaction.
