OBJECTIVE
To qualify as a non exclusive inspector on behalf of engineering and procurement contractors
(EPC’s), independent inspection agencies, and OEM vendor source inspection in accordance
with project requirements.
BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Over thirty (30) years combined experience in the manufacturing industry with twenty (20) years
continuous experience in the cryogenic petrochemical industry as Senior Quality Engineer.
Direct experience includes:
 Integration of customer requirements, local statutory/regulatory requirements, and
design engineering practices into an effective QA program for the design, construction,
inspection/testing, and installation of pressure containing equipment and submerged
cryogenic centrifugal pumps into hazardous areas.
 Evaluation and implementation of various worldwide regulatory/statutory certifications
such as Russian GOST / CU, Malaysian DOSH, European CE Marking, Australian
AS/NZS 1200, US NEC / UL, Canadian CUL, Canadian CRN.
 Source inspection, vendor qualification, vendor surveillance, and subsequent reporting
for all levels of material, construction, non destructive examination, and weld inspection.
(Note that ASNT Level 2 and CWI certificates were not required by my previous
employer but preparations are in place to formalize these same certifications for
independent inspection purposes).
 As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), I represented my employer in various
meetings with EPC’s and Owners, and facilitated pre inspection meetings with
engineers, inspectors and vendors for the successful execution of projects.
 Performing initial and ongoing audits of vendor’s quality systems both domestic and
international for compliance to various worldwide standards such as ISO 9001:2008,
ISO/TS 29001, ATEX, IEXEx.
 Writing policy and procedures for ongoing execution of contracts.
 10 years experience as prototype and production machinist on CNC mills, manual mills,
vertical turret lathes, horizontal turret and tool room lathes, surface grinders, OD
grinders, drill presses, yag laser etcher.
 10 years experience as production welder using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW processes and
related experience with SAW and FCAW.
