Main Project Features: A €560 million Hydroelectric Project involving two main contracts. Karahnjukar Dam involved
the construction of a 190 m high concrete faced rockfill dam with associated adits, roads and spillway. The Head Race
Tunnel involved the construction of 60 km of 7.5 m diameter partially lined tunnels constructed principally by tunnel
boring machines, with the remainder in drill and blast. Contracts based on FIDIC 1999 Red and Yellow books.
