Safety event 2019
The event for machine manufacturers, designers and design
engineers, HSE managers/engineers, project managers, technical
managers, technical services, machinery managers, maintenance
and service personnel, maintenance managers/engineers,
mechanical and Electrical engineers, quality engineers, machine
builders, installation companies and users.
Tuesday, the 14th of May 2019, the theme in the Eindhoven
EVOLUON will be the tenth edition of the unique and
muchdiscussed SAFETY event. Every year, many top speakers
–the SAFETY DOCTORS answering all safety-related questions–
and the six learnshops attract an increasing number of very
motivated visitors from Dutch and Flemish industries. Here,
the focus is 100% on Safety. Completed with a choice selection
of directly involved service organizations, manufacturers and
suppliers, all gathering on the Safety market.

Food & Beverage 2019
Event for engineers, machine builders and clients/customers

machinery and systems for the food and beverage industry.

A new event that has arisen from the results of two successful IE
motors events (2015 and 2016). But goes deeper on all energy-
saving solutions that manufacturers of drives etc. and what will be
in the near future expected. IE motors - controllers - transmissions
- fans - pumps - compressors - cooling - environmental aspects -
predictive maintenance software.
Drive systems determine about 70% of it electricity consumption of
the Dutch industry. By new techniques it is possible to be 20 to 30%
profitable achieve energy savings. The price for electricity (2019)
has risen to € 63 / MWh. For comparison, in the first half of 2016 the
price was still € 25, - / MWh.

‘Engineering in food & beverage’ event, 3 oktober in Utrecht
Op dinsdag 3 oktober 2017 vindt in De Fabrique in
Utrecht de eerste editie plaats van het Engineering
in Food & Beverage Event. Het evenement wordt
mede georganiseerd door de engineering-vak-
bladen Aandrijven & Besturen en Constructeur.
Centrale vraag is: wat kunnen ‘food’ en
‘engineering’ van elkaar leren? Die vraag wordt in
het plenaire ochtendprogramma besproken door
onder meer machinebouwer Tanis Food Tech en
Huijbregts Groep, dat poeders voor de levensmid-
delenindustrie verwerkt.
Een van de zes parallelle tracks, naast onder
andere energiebesparing en hygiënisch ontwerp, is
gewijd aan machineveiligheid, dat een interessant
spanningsveld vormt tussen food en engineering.
Vanuit voedselveiligheid wordt er aangedrongen
op een ‘open’ aanpak van het ontwerp van een
machine. De machine moet eenvoudig kunnen
worden gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd. Vanuit het
perspectief van machineveiligheid wordt gepleit
voor een ‘gesloten’ aanpak, met aandrijvingen en
gevaarlijke delen buiten bereik. Hoe dat een werk-
baar en veilig resultaat kan opleveren staat cen-
traal in de sessie van Martijn Drost van Pilz. Andere
ingrediënten op het menu komen voor rekening
van Paul Helsen van Lapp Benelux: hoe bekabel je
hygiënisch en duurzaam en houd je rekening met
elektrische veiligheid, duurzaamheid en de rele-
vante normen en richtlijnen?
Aan het evenement is een kennismarkt gekoppeld.
Bezoekers kunnen te rade bij meer dan dertig
