Staying Mobile even when Screening
It is very often the case that Engelsmann screening
machines are to be integrated into existing systems or
production processes. When doing so, the conditions
which exist on-site during construction and completion
of the respective machine solution need to be consid-
ered.
That this can involve sophisticated solutions being nec-
essary is demonstrated by the current surface process-
ing project in which case a manufacturer of vibratory-
finishing technology was able to avoid complicated
adaptation work and make operating cost savings by
introducing a mobile version of the vibration-screening
model JEL VibSpeed.
Due to the fact that both screening machines that were
ordered are used at different locations for protective
screening of various granulate specifications, they also
needed to be easily accessible and easy to take apart
in addition to being mobile in order to provide the
requested minimization of the time required for retrofit-
ting and the downtimes.

3. Facts and More Facts at
a Single Glance
They should be compact, clear and understandable:
Technical information on industrial goods such as sys-
tems and machines. Since the middle of last year, a
project group that has been especially put together for
this task worked on the preparation of the most impor-
tant data and information relating to Engelsmann pro-
ducts.
You will find all the information worth having on a pro-
duct summarized on a DIN A4 sheet, the so-called
„Product Fact Sheet“. In addition to the information
relating to the areas of application, the way of operation
and the machines and/or systems equipment, as well
as technical details such as dimensions, weight or drive
performance in compact form, you will also find specific
utilization advantages for the user. A product-related
contact person is to be indicated for fast contact esta-
blishment. In addition to that, you can also quickly and
easily retrieve further information using the QR code
and the direct link to the product page of the Engels-
mann website.
The current fact sheets for the long-stroke screening
machine JEL Freischwinger and the centrifugal
screening machine JEL VIRO have been completed
and are also available to be retrieved and viewed as a
PDF download on the respective product page. Why

4. Service Tip
Changing the V-belt Made
Really Easy
They are already in use with long-stroke screening
machines from Engelsmann: Segmented V-belts. Due
to the fact that they consist of many individual seg-
ments that are securely connected to each other with a
so-called bayonet catch, they can be quickly and easily
disengaged from one another without any great effort
being required. This is also something that means
significant advantages when it comes to change the
V-belt.
The use of these V-belts also means that extensive
installation work can be avoided and downtimes due to
V-belt changes can be significantly reduced. If the belt
should become „stretched“ during operation, it can be
quickly and easily shortened by just removing a link.
This also applies to the vibrations transmitted in the
drive system, and the noise level can also be reduced
through the segmented belt. The life-cycle of the bea-
ring is also extended as a result.
