EDUCATION
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
• Project one: A journalism project to make an amalgamation of print and broadcast media. We
created a presentation focusing on the uniqueness of Teach for India (TFI) an Indian non-profit
organization. I interviewed the senior recruitment manager at TFI’s New Delhi office.
• Project two: A project which required us to work on a modern day adaptation of the play
Abhijansakunatalam by Kalidasa. Woked with a team of eight , where I undertook the ardous task
of scriptwriting.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS
• Secured the 3rd
rank at school in Commerce stream in ISC examinations.
• Awarded the Hardware Merchants’ Association award for excellent performance in ISC
examinations all over Siliguri.
POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• An active volunteer of Udayan Care, an Ngo for orphaned children as part of NSS, LSR.
• A member of the Sponsorship team for Tarang,2016 -the annual cultural fest of Lady Shri Ram
College for Women.
• Responsible for approaching companies and pitching such that we have them
on board.
• Member of the Offline Publicity Team for Tarang, 2016
• As a member of the offline publicity team , I will be taking care of publicity
and marketing for Tarang 2016 once the sponsors are finalized.
• Played an active role in organising the annual fete of Nirmala Convent School in aid of
underprivileged children.
