Culture consists of patterns, explicit and implicit, of and for behavior acquired
and transmitted by symbols, constituting the distinctive achievement of human
groups, including their embodiments in artifacts; the essential core of culture
consists of traditional ideas and especially their attached values; culture systems
may, on the one hand, be considered as products of action, on the other hand, as
conditioning influences upon further action.

Adaptation to the natural environment: Everywhere man lives in a definite
natural environment to which they adapt themselves.
Adaptation to the social environment: Culture includes customs, traditions,
beliefs etc. All of these help the individual to adapt to his social environment.
Development of personality: The personality of the individual is manifested
through his pattern of behavior. The behavior is always influenced by the
culture of his/her group.
