Matching tasks and groups
 Students will learn more successfully if they
enjoy the activities they are involved into the
classroom. Although, in many institutions,
topics and activities are decreed to some
extent by the material in the course book that
is being used, is necessary to create activities
to cover needs and interests of the students in
our classes.
 We must think very carefully about the
activities that we are going to give to the
students because not all the activities have
the same success in each student
Variety
 Good teachers vary activities and topics over a period of time. The best
activity type will be less motivating the sixth time we ask the students to
take part in it. Much of the value of an activity, resides in its freshness.
 If we use the same activity types for some reason, it is important to try
to ensure that learner roles are not always the same.
Destinations
 Good activities should have some kind of
destination or learning outcome.
 Students need to have an idea of where they
are going, and more importantly, to recognize
when they have got there. teachers must make
sure that students leave the class with some
tangible result. That is why a feedback at the
end of a class is valuable.
