Our tutor assigned the student and three others to a group for a presentation worth 70% of their grade. When dividing tasks, some members felt their tasks were less difficult than others, causing complaints. The student realized this lack of equal perception could jeopardize cooperation in the group and affect their final mark. To encourage cooperation and progress, the student suggested nominating a chairperson. With this approach, their group ended up giving a good presentation and working well together. Therefore, for future group projects, nominating a chairperson from the start could help ensure success through fair distribution of work and cooperation among members.
