Third pillar highlights equal opportunities for all creating a
safe & cohesive workplace.
• Tolerance & culture:
Promotion of culture tolerance is the main objective through
the arts & culture sector.
• UAE model of tolerance:
To solidify UAE as global capital of tolerance via series of
projects & initiatives.
• Tolerance in legislation:
It will see Supreme National Committee for tolerance work on
developing legislation & executive regulations.
• Tolerance in the media:
Disseminating tolerance & coexistence values via targeted
media campaigns & projects.

 What is tolerance?
When you can take suffering & withstand undesirable situations.
 Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
• a freedom fighter for India.
• He was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar.
• Gandhiji believed that we should practice religious tolerance for
peace & harmony.
• Respect of rights, non-discrimination, social-equality, non-violence,
social service, cooperation, lawfulness are some of the associated
values related to justice.
INDIA
• A country of diversity in languages, religions, castes,
education, income,etc.
• Still unity in diversity exists in India.
Personalities helping to reduce inequalities:
• Narender Modi, being prime minister of India is doing
everything to tackle rising inequalities in areas of jobs, black
money, taxes, etc.
• By launching various schemes & programmes like Jan Dhan
Yojana, Saubhagya & Ujjwala; India is focussing on
equitable, inclusive growth & on bridging income inequalities.
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
• He became president on 3 November,2004 of UAE.
• Supreme National Committee for tolerance has been
established in UAE by directives of president.
• The committee ensures its seven pillars to be applied across
programmes on local, regional & global levels.

When you can take suffering & withstand undesirable situations.  Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi • a freedom fighter for India. • He was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar. • Gandhiji believed that we should practice religious tolerance for peace & harmony. • Respect of rights, non-discrimination, social-equality, non-violence, social service, cooperation, lawfulness are some of the associated values related to justice.
