Reham Yusuf Elekrady volunteered for the months of May and June of 2011 in the Ladies’
Section at Omar Ibn-Alkhattab Mosque. Despite this short period of time, Ms. Yusuf’s services
were extremely valuable and exceeded all our expectations.
Reham first joined our group as a volunteer in the “Tutoring, Islamic and Arabic Studies
Program”. She also volunteered in setting up and running a Community Sale, in addition to
preparing material for the Summer School. She showed outstanding organizational skills and
successfully helped develop several of the projects’ schedules. She was also able to handle
multiple tasks with a lot of enthusiasm and dynamism.
Reham proved to be a very dependable person too. She demonstrated an unwavering devotion to
the mosque and never missed any opportunity to help every time we needed her services. At all
times we found her to be reliable, conscientious, and hard-working.
Ms. Yusuf has exceptional communication skills. She is very courteous and fits easily in any
work team. She is also flexible and willing to work on any project assigned to her. Moreover, she
can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done.
Ms. Reham Elekrady was a real asset to our mosque. She donated countless hours of her time to
our organization. Her character did not affect the volunteers of the group only but also enriched
the lives of everyone with whom she was in contact. Unfortunately, we will no longer be lucky
enough to have her services; we wish we had known her from the beginning of her stay in the
USA. She will be missed and we highly recommend her to any future employer or volunteer
organization.
