• Junior Assistant (Non-Security) – 4096 Posts.
• Village Administrative Officer (VAO) – 494 Posts.
• Junior Assistant (Security) – 205 Posts.
• Bill Collector, Grade – I – 48 Posts.
• Field Surveyor – 74 Posts.
• Draftsman – 156 Posts.
• Typist – 3463 Posts.

Eligibility Norms
⦿ Educational Qualification:
• SSLC / 10th Pass
• For Typist & Steno Typist:
⚫Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
⚫The Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade
in English (or)
⚫Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in
Tamil.
⦿ Selection Procedure:
• Written Examination.

Age Limit and Application Fee
⦿ For other Exams:
• Minimum Age: 18 Years.
• Maximum Age: 30 Years.
⦿ For VAO Exam:
• Minimum Age: 21 Years.
• Maximum Age: 30 Years.
Note: Age Relaxations will Applicable for all Exams.
Application Fee:
• Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
• Examination Fee: Rs. 100/-

Application Procedure for TNPSC Group 4
Exam in 15 Easy Steps
⦿ Step 1 : all the eligible and interested applicants must
visit the official website of TNPSC - www.tnpsc.gov.in
after that you will find the following snap in the centre of
TNPSC home page.

⦿ Step 2 : Now Click on the “One Time Registration Link”
then it shows the dialogue box, click on the “Ok” button.

⦿ Step 3: Then, you will find a alert box stating that one
time registration is mandatory if you want to read the
further details click the “ Click here” Button. Otherwise
click on “ One Time Registration” button.

⦿ Step 4: Another home page will be displayed which will
consists of two dialogue boxes if you are already a
registered candidate then click on the Already one time
registered candidates dialogue box. or else click “New
User” dialogue box. Also you will find the Important note
on that home page kindly read it.

⦿ Step 5 : If you are already a registered applicants then
the following home screen will appear. After that enter
your login details.

⦿ Step 5 : If you are a new user then the enter all your
details correctly in the TNPSC online application form.

⦿ Step 7: After entering all the details click on the “ Submit
“ Button then it leads to another page that looks as
follows. Now read the status in the home screen.

⦿ Step 8: To activate your account enter your login id and
password.

⦿ Step 9: After entering password it asks for verification
for security purposes so you have to enter the text that
is given in captcha.

⦿ Step 10 : After entering the Captcha click on the
“Activate” button. Another home page appears that
consists of status read that one and click the “Click to
Next Stage Button” to complete final registration.

⦿ Step 11 : Again enter your login ID password and
captcha. You can know payment status also.

⦿ Step 12 :
1. In the TNPSC Online Registration portal will enter all your personal details
first correctly.
1. Next select your suitable certificate details by reading the eligibility on the
left hand side.
1. After that, enter the education details such as qualification, passout year
etc.
2. Finally, the applicants must upload the recent photograph.
