Candidate Interview Experience Survey Report
1. Candidate Interview Experience Survey Report
interview forecast 2020
key findings 2020
24% Increase in job openings in 2020
42% of the Applicants will not recommend
the company to anyone
For the year 2020 we foresee a huge growth of about 20% increase of job openings which is
going to come to India, so the question is ‘Would we be able to fulfill those numbers with the
best fit talent?’ It’s very important that we set the expectation right. While businesses
increase their marketing budget on recruitment, they must enhance any interaction they
have with job applicants. A negative interview experience viewpoint can impact a company
from acquiring best talent for future opportunities
A questionnaire was prepared, and we asked respondents to rank their experiences of
satisfaction. According our research 42% of the candidates are not likely to recommend the
company to others for interviews which can affect attracting the right talent to the
organization.
Finding a well experienced interviewer is important as he is the one who can shape the
conversation with greater control. Most of our job seekers prefer face-to-face interviews and their
feedback is rarely captured so our questions were broken up so that the candidate’s assessment
is captured.
The responses are on a good scale, however 28% of candidates were not satisfied with the
questions put forward to them and whether it was relevant to their skill / certifications.
Also there is 24% scope of improvement to Excellent or Good, when it comes explaining
the job description / the postion to the candidate.
The first impression always counts when it comes to hospitality, communication and
infrastructure which can add to a little insight into the culture of the company. The
responses received was satisfactory to majority of the candidates except 39% felt the
infrastructure could have been better.
Candidate feedback allows companies to understand how their hiring processes
stand and look into ways to improve them. By following the best practices the hiring
team can recruit talented professionals for the growth of the company.
Considering the importance of candidate experience is crucial because an
outstanding valued interview experience adds more to the brand
Recruise's research platform ensures the qualitative as well as quantitative data is
collected which helps in meeting the intended objectives of the organizations. Our
insights are backed up by a rigorous process of analysis and solution development.
This ensures that our recommendations are well researched, practical and tailored to
an organization's requirements.
We have kept our candidates anonymous and have received a huge number of
comments, just selected few are listed here.
The responses were divided up based on their final interview mode, where they either
landed with the job or were denied
