interview reviews shared anonymously,
across 25 different countries.
In 2018, the average UK salary
was £27,721 according to the

Costs of replacing an employee

to £11,000. This can rise
exponentially for senior roles.
There seems little doubt that

Define clear outcomes, prioritise your needs and focus on one thing
at a time. Don’t try to solve everything at once.
Benefits can be achieved incrementally, without a large up-front
investment.
Beware of diminishing returns, and always have a clear goal in
mind. AI promises many things, consider the hype but don’t be
afraid to challenge it.
Exploiting technology is a little
like using a GPS system. If you
have a clear destination in mind,
its value is unquestionable.
If you just get into a car and drive,
it will faithfully track your
progress. Where you end up is
a different matter entirely.
If you enter the wrong destination,
you’ll end up a long way from
home, faster than you thought.
With a long drive back, frustrated
passengers, and an unexpected
fuel bill to deal with.

Continued success relies on your ability to attract, recruit, develop and retain the best talent in the marketplace. Finding great people is the key to prosperity. It is also costly, labour intensive and prone to selection bias. Find the wrong people and your cost is multiplied many times over. If the best people are not working for you, they are likely working for your competitors. AI and related technologies are playing an increasingly important role in recruitment and talent acquisition. The goal is not to replace your workforce, it is to complement their skills and experience. Empowering them to do better things for your organisation and for themselves.

Predictive algorithms can detect when an employee’s engagement level drops. Develop Self-assessment data can be analysed to identify appropriate training. Spaced repetition optimises learning time. Technology does not replace personal training and mentoring. Recruit IA provides relative weighting for applicants using CV information and online activities. Leading to a reduction in workloads where recruitment specialists can focus more on the best applicants. Attract Intelligent automation (IA) allows you to create profiles for key applicants. This allows your to create tailored communications that provide a personal touch.

Often >60 days for senior roles. The data comes from almost 84,000 interview reviews shared anonymously, across 25 different countries. In 2018, the average UK salary was £27,721 according to the UK government. Costs of replacing an employee with average earnings can be up to £11,000. This can rise exponentially for senior roles. There seems little doubt that the effort to find great people is increasing as demand (and competition) increases. Don’t try to solve everything at once. Benefits can be achieved incrementally, without a large up-front investment. Beware of diminishing returns, and always have a clear goal in mind. AI promises many things, consider the hype but don’t be afraid to challenge it. Exploiting technology is a little like using a GPS system. If you have a clear destination in mind, its value is unquestionable. If you just get into a car and drive, it will faithfully track your progress. Where you end up is a different matter entirely. If you enter the wrong destination, you’ll end up a long way from home, faster than you thought. With a long drive back, frustrated passengers, and an unexpected fuel bill to deal with.
