Business Internship: TWR, Cary, NC. (summer 2013)
Created PowerPoint presentations on the history and progress of TTB (a partner organization of TWR).
Created 3 web-pages for TTB in foreign languages (Tamil, Thai, Urdu). These web-pages involved
research on the cultural backgrounds of the languages used, I worked with representatives from these
cultures, as well as representatives of the organizations whose information I used and translated for
these web-pages.

I am a business major, with a strong interest and some experience in administration and project management. I
graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration in December, 2013. I have experience working with
Microsoft Office, and Open Office.
I grew up on a farm and gained experience operating farm equipment, planning, managing, and implementing
projects, and experienced plenty of manual labor. On the farm, I helped and managed hay, cattle, firewood, and
pecan production, sales, and distribution. I have helped in the building and remodeling of houses and barns,
including electricity, plumbing, and roofing.

Currently employed as Assistant Store Manager, in Walmart store #03828 (Longview, TX)
Walmart- 4 months experience as cashier and IMS, both 1st and 3rd shift.
1 semester worked as secretary for LeTourneau Student Senate
Steak and Shake, and K.T.’s Sports Bar and Restaurant- 6 months, part-time, worked as waitress,
bartender, and cashier.
Worked temporarily for Metabolic Research Center as secretary and receptionist, handling patients’
confidential information on a daily basis, setting and verifying appointments, handling any questions
from patients or their families.
Highlights
Soroptimist Award: An award given for exemplary volunteer service in multiple humanitarian organizations
Over 5 years managing various projects on a farm, with varying numbers of individuals involved in the overall
tasks
Served as secretary/administrative assistant for the team that put “The Poverty Conference” together, keynote
