My name is Rebecca and I have been teaching English and Literature for many years
and went to college to study English with Emphasis in translation, but I had to
provide for my children, so I didn’t have the opportunity to finish my career.
I had a friend who told me about the Panama Quality Education TEFL course which
would give me the accreditation I needed to become a certified teacher and I am
glad I did, because upon completing this course, I plan to have better job
opportunities and maybe even travel to other places to teach English, plus with the
certification, gain an increase in my actual salary.
I am interested in teaching English to middle school level or high school level
students. I have student teaching experience on the sixth, seventh, eighth grade level
as well as student teaching for high school. I also have taught adults English on
various levels.
I also have experience working with special needs students sixth, seventh, eighth,
ninth grade and tenth grade level which is rewarding for me to be able to work with
students who have special needs.
I have been an advisor for the TOS debate team for 10 years, where I’ve had the
opportunity to travel to other countries.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a
compassionate, enthusiastic English teacher who will make a positive impact in your
