3. Introduction
-It is the energy that comes from natural sources
such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, plants, algae and
geothermal heat
-Can be naturally replenished
-Clean, Safe and not harmful to the environment (aka
mother nature)
5. Biomass Energy: Biomass is
organic material that comes from
plants and animals, and it is a
renewable source of energy.
Biomass contains stored energy
from the sun. Plants absorb the sun's
energy in a process called
photosynthesis. When biomass is
burned, the chemical energy in
biomass is released as heat.Biomass
can be burned directly or converted
to liquid biofuels or biogas that can
be burned as fuels.
6. 1.Field and plantation biomass
2.Industrial biomass
3.Forest biomass
4.Urban waste biomass

Types & Uses of Biomass Energy
Biomass is highly diverse in nature and classified on the basis of site of origin, as follows
7. Solar Energy
Solar Energy is produced by using
photovoltaic cells, which capture
sunlight and turns that into energy.
8. Wind Energy
-These giant pinwheels spin
from strong winds which spins
a turbine of a generator to
produce energy.
9. Hydro Water Energy
Flowing water creates energy
that can be captured and
turned into electricity. This is
called hydroelectric power or
hydropower. The most
common type of hydroelectric
power plant uses a dam on a
river to store water in a
reservoir.
10. Uses of Hydro water Energy
In Agriculture
In pump sets
At offices
Govt organization
12. Advantages & Disadvantages of
Green Energy
Disadvantages
Costly to stabilize.
Equipments are expensive.
Negative impact to the environment is Zero.
Make Pollution Free Environment.
Good to Everybody.
Easy to stabilize.
More Efficient.
13. Conclusion on Green Energy
To make sure we have plenty of energy in the future, it's up
to all of us to use energy wisely. We must all conserve energy
and use it efficiently. It's also up to those who will create the
new energy technologies of the future. All energy sources
have an impact on the environment. Concerns about the
greenhouse effect and global warming, air pollution, and
energy security have led to increasing interest and more
development in renewable energy sources such as solar,
wind, geothermal, wave power and hydrogen. But we'll need
to continue to use fossil fuels and nuclear energy until new,
cleaner technologies can replace them.
