Project 1: Optimizing lab operations by reducing turn around time
• Analyzed the flow of test samples using AS-IS analysis to eliminate the non-value-adding processes
• Identified the bottlenecks in sample handling process across laboratories using Six sigma DMADV
• Augmented MIS & improved operational visibility of 35000 samples/day by creating Tableau dashboards
• Designed Automated Sorting System & procured it from vendor Roche for revamping the entire process
Project 2: Improving Utilization of machines in haematology department
• Analysed annual data of central laboratory using pareto rule to identify high frequency machines
• Implemented the 5S methodology to improve the effectiveness and utilization of 10 machines
• Proposed an efficient layout and customized rakes to pacify load surges which occur during peak hours
Achievements
• Received Pre Placement Offer and accolades from CEO and CXOs for exemplary performance
• Reduced TAT of the process by 62.67% i.e. from 4 hrs to 1.5 hrs by optimizing the lab operations
• Designed a customized crosan which helped in increasing the utilization of staining machine by 250%

Methodology
Project: Streamlining procurement and inventory management processes
• Analysed the data and proposed new inventory norms to reduce out of stock and over stock situations
• Identified Non Moving Inventory worth 12 lakhs and formulated strategies for e-auction of scrap
• Performed vendor evaluation and created score cards by analysing data with the help of Tableau
• Identified the inefficiencies in procurement cycle and designed a scalable solution to eliminate delays

• Designed STED by analyzing the attributes in accordance with Pre-Market Approval compliance of FDA
• Operated on the ERP software INFOR XA to extract data of packaging, labels, DHR’s and drawings
• Conceptualised and drove the creation of an excel database for more than 7000 various medical devices

• Led the training of 10 new associates across various functions to ensure smoother induction process
