This document discusses the effect of cold enzyme washing on cotton-tencel denim fabrics. It introduces tencel fiber and its use in denim fabrics. Cold enzyme washing is proposed as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional enzyme washing that uses lower temperatures. The document outlines the cold enzyme washing process and provides data on the weight loss, k/s values, GSM change, color fastness, and wicking ability of cotton-tencel samples after being cold enzyme washed. Further testing of properties like tensile strength, thickness, air permeability, pilling, and tearing strength is recommended.
